Reciprocating vacuum pump

The working principle of reciprocating vacuum pump is similar to that of reciprocating pump. During operation, through the action of crankshaft and connecting rod, the piston in the cylinder moves back and forth to achieve the purpose of suction and exhaust. Domestic reciprocating vacuum pump has V-type series. It is composed of body, cylinder, piston, crosshead, crankshaft, connecting rod and valve. When the piston moves back and forth, one end of the piston sucks gas from the vacuum system, while the other end exhausts the gas that has been sucked into the cylinder.

Reciprocating vacuum pump can be directly used to obtain rough vacuum, and its limit pressure is generally about 10 mmHg (1333 PA). The advantage of using this kind of pump is that it has a larger pumping speed under the condition that the vacuum degree is not high in general food vacuum concentration and vacuum drying.
